Job description

**Duration:** 3 months **Overview** A public-sector organization is seeking an AI Specialist to lead the design, development, and launch of an AI innovation program. This role focuses on innovation and cultural change management first, with collaboration on AI implementation as a secondary priority. The specialist will work in an environment utilizing Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, Apache Spark, Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, AWS (SageMaker, EC2, S3), Azure (Machine Learning Studio, Databricks), SQL, NoSQL databases, and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI). The position requires assessing organizational readiness and innovation culture, establishing operating models and success metrics, and implementing innovation frameworks and best practices aligned with existing technology standards. The specialist will design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that enhance business processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation across the organization. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead the design, development, and launch of an AI innovation program by assessing organizational readiness and innovation culture - Establish operating models, success metrics, and implement innovation frameworks and best practices aligned with existing technology standards - Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that enhance business processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and gather requirements - Prepare data, select, train, validate, and deploy AI models and applications - Develop roadmaps that prioritize impactful innovation initiatives while fostering knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration - Promote sustainable adoption of AI technologies across the organization - Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, research, and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of AI innovation - Deliver measurable business value through AI initiatives **Required Qualifications** - Mid-Senior level experience in AI and machine learning - Proficiency in Python and R programming languages - Experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and Jupyter Notebooks - Experience with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3) and Azure (Machine Learning Studio, Databricks) - Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI - Strong background in innovation and cultural change management - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Experience developing and implementing AI innovation programs
