Contact List Researcher — AI & Biomedical Innovation- Freelance

**Location:** Remote **Hours:** Freelance / On-demand **Overview** This is an independent contractor engagement supporting outreach for a federal innovation program. You will manually identify and collect verified email addresses of professionals working in AI, data science, machine learning, and biomedical research from publicly available sources. Quality and accuracy are the top priority, and you will invoice directly for hours worked. **Key Responsibilities** - Manually search for and collect contact details of professionals in AI, data science, machine learning, health informatics, and biomedical research - Find verified, publicly available email addresses from university pages, lab websites, conference speaker lists, LinkedIn profiles, GitHub pages, and research community directories - Assess relevance and include only people who are genuinely active in the target field, not loosely related contacts - Deliver clean, organized output in CSV format with all required fields completed accurately - Work on assigned batches and deliver within agreed timelines **Required Qualifications** - Strong attention to detail with critical accuracy; every field must be correct - Comfortable navigating academic directories, conference websites, GitHub, LinkedIn, and research community pages - Ability to assess relevance and include only people genuinely active in AI, data science, or biomedical research - No guessing, no fabricating, no filling in fields from memory or assumption - Reliable delivery on assigned batches with clear communication - Must be based in Canada and able to invoice as an independent contractor **Preferred Qualifications** - Prior experience building contact or outreach lists for research or innovation programs - Familiarity with AI, data science, or biomedical research communities - Experience navigating academic conference directories, lab pages, and open-source research communities **Work Location & Requirements** - Fully remote position - Independent contractor engagement - Must be based in Canada
